Description: 140 m2 apartment. The entrance is through the courtyard, welcoming you with two large glassdoors. The main room, with typical Sienese beams, is an open plan living room, divided into sitting-room and kitchen. The sitting-room is furnished with sofas and coffee table.
The kitchen has a table for up to seven people and includes all the necessities for cooking. When arriving on the next floor, the first room has a double bed and an ensuite bathroom with services, and enclosed shower. Baby cot available. From the corridor, there is access to another bathroom, before reaching the last room which has a twin bed. On the second floor there is a large loft with three single beds. Beautiful view from the rooms, onto the garden of the estate.
In the courtyard, a private large space with a table and confortables chairs allows to enjoy the open air. Beach umbrella and barbecue available. Outside, you can take advantage of the garden, along with the swimming pool: there you find a broad stone terrace equipped with pergola, table, chairs, deckchairs, sunbeds. Outdoor shower.

Location: the apartment is situated in a splendid 18th century mansion, called Le Muricce, with typical Sienese architecture. Le Muricce’s position is ideal because one reaches the Chianti region in a few minutes or can enjoy the culture and convenience of the city of Siena (6 km away).
The mansion is surrounded by a garden with oak-trees, linden-trees, cypresses and a terrace full of many mediterranean plants, where one can relax and have a pleasant stay outside. The swimming-pool is 6m x12 m and is situated on a paved terrace with pergola, table, chairs, deckchairs and sunbeds. From the terrace there is an excellent view of the hills including, woods and fields. The estate is situated at an altitude of 350 m above sea level. The climate is usually full of sunshine with a light breeze.
Services: air-conditioning in all the bedrooms, central heating with thermostat, high speed wi-fi internet, Satellite TV, dvd and cd players. Well equipped kitchen with: electrical oven and four gas-rings, frezeer with refrigerator, dishwasher and washing machine. Baby cot and chair. Laundry with drying rack, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner. Outside: table and chairs in the courtyard, parasol and bbq.
At the swimming pool: pergola, table, chairs, deckchairs, outdoor shower. Private parking inside the property. The swimming-pool is for the exclusive use for the guests of the three vacation apartments which are in the property.
Distances: “Le Muricce” is ideal for country-holidays because of its excellent location. Siena is only 6 km away, Florence is 55 km away, San Gimignano is 40 km away, and Castellina in Chianti is 15 km away. The entry to the highway to Florence is at a distance of 5 km. There is also a bus stop 200m away, which can bring you to Siena center or to the Siena Train Station. The next village is “Quercegrossa” at 3 km away with two supermarkets, bar, pizzeria and restaurants. Pharmacy, bank, post office. The nearest airports are Pisa (1,5 hours) and Florence (1 hour). Siena’s Train Station is 5 km from the mansion.
