Advices and useful addresses:

Bagno Vignoni
- Bagno Vignoni is a feather in San Quirico d'Orcia's cap thanks to the warm steam which burst out from the large Piazza d'Acque.
At Bagno Vignoni you breathe a really new air or better still a very antique air. It is from there, where in the big basin in the 5th century Santa Caterina da Siena and Lorenzo de' Medici, called Il Magnifico took a bath, that you can enjoy one of the most beautiful view of this area. By now, there are several thermal establishments, open all the year, with the possibility to choose between pools with heated or cold water, and a set of services like massages, muds, sauna, medical and aesthetic check-up.
Valle d'Orcia - The Unesco's partners nations meeting, since June 2004, has included the Val d'Orcia in the list of goods as humanity's heritage. Not a single good, not an historical centre but a whole territory. Val d'Orcia Park has been recognized as the only one in the world for its cultural characteristics, that is to say that the landscape has been moulded and shaped during the centuries by the human work.
Val d'Orcia landscape, mainly characterized by hills that follows one another, is marked from the Medieval traced route Via Cassia which reaches the main villages of San Quirico d'Orcia, Castiglione d'Orcia, Radicofani and, on the side street towards Val di Chiana, there are Pienza and Montepulciano.
